Description: The first 7 images relate to the farm and homestead at Takahe Creek. The owners are unidentified. They show farm cottages, a surveyor taking bearings, stockwork with a cattle truck in the yard, trucking sheep, the house library, farm bush and sheep yards and cattle. Two portraits show John Canvin and Mr Fitch at Rozel. The next two slides show potato vine flowers, and a fallen tree uprooted. The final 11 slides are portraits of Joan McWhannell with her baby Niel; Helen Anderson; Pat McNicol; and Jill and Mike Carter. Quantity: 22 colour original transparency/ies. Description: This collection of slides relate to the farm and homestead at Takahe Creek. The owners are unidentified. An unidentified man and woman are shown. The man was seen in the slides on sheet (PA12-8855), named John. They are accompanied by the spaniel Rusty. One image is a close-up of a man's hand holding a Maori toki (adze). A number of images show the house, including the verandah, and an interior view of the kitchen. Others show parts of the farm and the farm coastline. Quantity: 23 colour original transparency/ies.
