Description: Booklet shows photographs of ceramic ware using designs selected by Mr F C Pope, with the help of Mr J H Mott. The design were used on vases, candlesticks, teapots, jugs and sugar bowls. A similar display was also mounted in Wellington in late 1906. The Evening Post for 6 December 1906, Page 9, shows an advertisement from D.I.C. which says "We have also received a shipment of STONEWARE GOODS, from the LAMBETH POTTERY of DOULTON and CO., with MAORI ART DECORATIONS, consisting of JUGS, 3-PIECE TEA SETS, CANDLESTICKS, VASES, BOWLS, SPILLS, TEAPOTS, and SPIRIT BOTTLES. These should be keenly appreciated as Works of Merit on the part of the Designers of the Royal Doulton Potteries, who have so well interpreted the Spirit of Maori Art, and should be well received by the Artistic".
