Talks about marriage to Dean Perrett Lipscombe in 1947, move to Otaki, birth of children and becoming a full time housewife. Recalls return to the workforce in 1968 as District nurse. Explains difference between public health nurse and district nurse. Recalls TB (tuberculosis) being quite prevalent in Otaki and mentions TB clinics and Sanatorium which had beautiful gardens.
