Description: Interviews conducted between 1984 and 1985 by Bruce Asher with former Child Welfare Officers, who discuss issues in child welfare in New Zealand and aspects relating to their careers. The interviewees are Dora Asher, Dennis Reilly, Charles Watson, Ephra Garrett, Jack Luckock, Charlie Peek, and Elsie Feist. Arrangement: Interviews originally described as OHColl-0667, which described both this set of interviews, and a later project on Child Welfare in twentieth century New Zealand recorded between 1996-1997 by Brownyn Dalley.
