Description: Shows mill buildings and oast houses at the left, on the banks of the Maitai River, Nelson foreshore, in golden light. Dr Bush's windmill can be seen on the opposite bank of the river, along with houses The windmill, on Miller's acre, was burned down in 1867. It was located on present-day Trafalgar Street, diagonally opposite the Nelson Chief Post Office, and was for some time around 1990 the site of Miller's Acre carpark Other Titles - River landscape, New Zealand Compare a very similar view by H.
