Description: Flier advertising a carnival fair in Wellington over the summer season is illustrated with a photograph of two people riding a camel at the right. The text lists some of the attractions: Duncan & Walker's motor dodgem speedway, merry-go-round and joy planes, side shows including Cassim Mahomet (soldier, author, traveller and composer) presenting Ranee the Indian wonder woman who performs miracles; the "Merman" (half man, half fish) from Aden on the Red Sea; Delgados Celebrity Circus; games of every description. Description: All frames taken at a fair at an unidentified location. Frames 1 and 2 show a young Māori smoking a cigarette, standing in the entrance to a maze. Sign reads "Tickets" and "Do not be afraid. If lost ask attendant for directions." Two young men are at the entrance to a tent in frames 3 and 4; a large tent with racing dodgems is seen in frame 5; and in frame 6 a young couple with their baby are walking past a booth with sign "Roll'm down, and add them up. Every child receives a prize." Frames 7 and 9 show a young man wearing a stars & stripes singlet who is standing in the entrance to a tent "Slot ma[chine] Change [?].
