Description: Cartoon strip giving a rallying message full of phrases such as: shoulder to shoulder, pulling together, putting our best foot forward, stiff upper lip, eye on the ball, fingers crossed, hair on, end up, thumb in line with the seam of the trousers, play with a straight bat, beware of the dog, look for the silver lining, refuse all substitutes.
