The Rape Awareness Week in Auckland included a free introduction to self-defence, assertiveness classes, a forum for men, and a "Reclaim the Night" march for women only on Friday 7th November. There was also a concert of women's music on Friday 7th November. Events took place in Tamaki College Hall, Henderson Recreation Centre, Clover Park School Otara, Newton Community Centre, and Methodist Central Mission.
