Description: Printed broadside with inscriptions and annotations addressed to Archdeacon Alfred Nesbit Brown, Tauranga. The broadside has been printed in Sydney by James Fedarb, likely ordered by James Busby for his store in the Bay of Islands during one of his visits to Sydney. The header reads "Victoria Store, Victoria, Bay of Islands"; the body of the broadside lists stock for sale at the Victoria Store, including food, beverages, tobacco, hardware, and kitchenware; and the foot of the text reads "James Fedarb, Agent". Above the header is the annotation "Mr Busby..." [sic]. The broadside is annotated verso in two different hands; one reads "Store at Bay of Islands" in pencil, and the other reads "Rev. A N. Brown | Tauranga" in ink. Information on custodial history taken from auction house catalogue. Title supplied by Library. Quantity: 1 folder(s). Physical Description: Laid paper, printed, 320 x 295 mm, with handwritten inscriptions in ink and pencil. Provenance: From the collection of Gerald Ellott (postal historian). Ellott purchased the broadside in 1964 from Cordy's Auction House, Auckland. Believed by Ellott to be from collection of manuscripts and papers belonging to Archdeacon Alfred Nesbit Brown.
