Description: Illustrations of scenes from the Old Testament, all featuring animals (dove, raven, swallow, dogs, leopards, camels, hen and chickens, horses, lambs, cattle, dogs, apes and peacocks). Jemima Blackburn was the illustrator of "Illustrations of scripture by an animal artist, with notes by a naturalist [James Wilson, Edinburgh, 1855]. The engraver of the illustrations is Dalziel [Brothers] Inscriptions: Recto - JB; Recto - Dalziel Quantity: 13 b&w art print(s). Physical Description: Black and white prints mounted on sheets, sizes approximately 335 x 223 mm
