Description: Christmas card, produced for staff of the third New Zealand General Hospital to send, shows a tiki on a red cross on the cover. Inside is an illustration of the single-storey hospital building with two Red Cross sympbols on the front, and an ambulance at the far right. There is a palm tree at the left. The card contains a handwritten message from "Isabel", reading as follows: "This is the only building we had in our last location. It contained theatre, ration store and ordnance dept., linen store & dispensary offices and Q.M. The rest was under canvas. Quite pleasant but too much sand!"
