Description: A pamphlet advertising Lake Ohau Lodge, with photographs of the ski slopes, a diagram of the ski tow, and an advertisement for round trips by the Mt Cook Cruiser Coach Service to Coronet Peak, Ohau and Mt Cook. Lake Ohau ski field was first operational in 1953. "Skiing took place on a small scale for several winters. A day hut was built at the bottom of the field in 1955, the road was completed to the ski field in 1956 and in September 1959, the area staged an official opening".
