Description: Transparency slides of Australia selected by Mr Williams as a representative collection to be used in a series of lectures on his return to England. This sheet shows Australian plants and birds; the Cotter Dam; the stained glass window in the War Memorial in Canberra; Government House (Yarralumla) in Canberra; jacaranda trees at Grafton. These are followed by images that Mr Williams purchased showing Australian plants and birds, aerial views of Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road; Louttit Bay, Lorne; McKenzie Falls; a stone bridge into the Melbourne Botanical Gardens; and two views of Mount Olga. The slides are not filed in his original numerical sequence, and are selected by subject relating to particular talks. Arrangement: These slides were selected by Mr Williams from his original sequence to create a representative collection of Australian images which he used in illustrated lectures on his return to England.
