Description: Packet of postcards issued on the occasion of the Radio New Zealand exhibition at Auckland Art Gallery. There is one title card, and the rest show photographs of handmade "radios" in interior and exterior settings. Radio shapes are made of wooden beehives (designed by Wuqiong Shi and Emma Clarkson), woven flax, carved Maori motifs in wood, fish and chips, rugby jersey, swanndri, barbecue (designed by Chris Taylor and Grace Kim), pebbles in the bush, caravan, sheepskin, pavlova, and knitting basket (designed by Courtney Foon). Donor reports that the radio models were made by Weta Workshop and the photographer was Steven Boniface. Quantity: 14 colour photo-mechanical print(s) in packet. Description: Scrapbook includes a large number of cuttings of Alex Gurney's cartoons `Bluey and Curley'. These cartoons depict a soldier's life in the Australian Army in the 1940s and 1950s. The second section comprises mainly newspapers and magazines cuttings, cartoons, ephemera, beer labels, Devonport Steam Ferry Co Ltd tickets, greeting cards, original black and white photographs. Topics include animals, women, children and babies. Of interest is a newspaper cutting depicting the 10,000th baby born at the Alexandra Maternity Home, Wellington (no date). The first three volumes of a lettered series of files were also deposited in 2005. Volumes A and B contain material used in assembling statistics of Trust activities.
