Description: Railway trains, locomotives, and carriage interiors in New Zealand, Britain and North America. The Volcanic Plateau and Wairakei geothermal project. Most of the album shows ships on Auckland Harbour and at the wharves, including the launch 'Manu', used to provide "Captain Cook Cruises" circa 1980, and the refurbished waterfront and cast iron gates near the Ferry Terminal Building. There are also shots of people taking the sun in this area. The final section records some of the demolition and rebuilding in Auckland during the 1980s. Rationalist House also features.
