Description: A view of the Cook Islands (mostly Rarotonga, Aitutaki, Mauke and Atiu) compiled by the Kingsbury family between 1923 and 1933. There are those working for the New Zealand administration, members of rugby clubs, participants in official visits, in ceremonial events such as the Coronation of Vaikai Kainuku, Ariki of Takitumu, Rarotonga in March 1931, in communal fish drives, a sunday school demonstration at Ngatangiia, Rarotonga, as family groups and individuals. Of the islands there are many scenic views - the landscape, the vegetation, the coast, towns, villages, principle buildings such as churches, the administration buildings in Avarua, Cook Island houses, European houses, commercial buildings, wharves, and ships.
