Cup presented by the Takitimu Association. Originally awarded for the NZMLTA (New Zealand Māori Lawn Tennis Association) men's doubles champions in 1923. Later it was competed for by rohe which included Te Arawa, Mataatua, Rohepotae, Akarana, Tai Tokerau, and Horouta.
