Riccarton House (Christchurch, N.Z.)

The Deans family homestead. The first stage in 1856 was built for Jane Deans (1823-1911) and her son John Deans (1853-1902) after her husband John Deans (1820-1854) died. Two further stages were developed in 1874 and 1900.
