The Golden Point Historic Reserve lies 50 km inland from Palmerston, off State Highway 85 on the road from Dunback to Hyde in the South Island of New Zealand. It is 5 km from the village of Macraes. The area comprises historic gold mining remains, including Golden Point and Maritana mines. It also houses unique machinery, still in working order. It is a Heritage New Zealand listed Historic Area.
