Description: Shows remains of carved stockade and what could be a canoe prow on the ground. Cabbage trees to the right and hills in the background The pa at Te Wai a te Rua Ti, near Temuka had been a Waitaha Pa until the raids of Te Rauparaha in the 1820s, when it was rebuilt at some distance as a Ngai Tahu Pa.
