Description: Photographs of mountains and valleys in the Southern Alps towards the West Coast, chiefly taken by Dr Ebenezer Teichelmann, with the last two images probably taken by Marcel Kurz. The box is entitled "W.A. Kennedy. Dr. T. 4 (Box 22). The images are separated into nine sequences filed in paper folders, with two loose images at the end. The folders are as follows: 1: Complete pan (panorama) of 8 from Pioneer Ridge (nos. 1-22). 2: Callery (nos. 23-30). 3: Pan of 8 of the Lambert Group (from near the head of Lambert Glacier) (nos. 31-38). 4: Pan of 11 from Chancellor Ridge (nos. 39-46). 5: Lower Waiototo (i.e. Waiatoto) Valley (nos. 47-61a). 6: From Craig's Peak (no. 62). 7: odd Pioneer Ridge (nos. 63-70, and 80 (lacking nos. 71-79). 8: Head of Victoria Glacier (nos. 81-83). 9: Upper Waiototo (i.e. Waiatoto) Valley (nos. 84-109). 10: two loose images, now numbered 110 and 111 (originally numbered 103 (Haast from the H.-L col, K. Gardiner), and 127 (High peak of Cook from north beyond 2nd peak). Neither of these are listed in the inventory. Most of the places shown are listed above. Inventory lists 109 images, however the sequence lacks numbers 71-79, and there are four images not listed in the inventory (nos 61A, 94A, and two loose images originally numbered 103 (now numbered 110), and 127 (now numbered 111); this makes 104 images in total..
