Description: Alpine views, taken by John Dobree Pascoe, circa 1930s, except image no. 27 (taken by Edgar Williams, in 1917). Many of the places shown are listed above, most images having detailed identification in pencil on the back. Image no. 8 has note on verso which reads "From Mein's Knob slopes. Andreas Reischek mentions the glacier in his book and says it was named by Haast as the "Reischek Glacier". Should this name stick?" [This glacier has been officially named in current topographical maps (2011)]. Image no. 10 shows three mountaineers, Barker [i.e. Nevile Barker], Clarke [i.e. Jack Clarke], and R E McInnes.
