Description: Shows at left a version of the Choris portrait of Kamehameha I, King of the Hawaiian Islands, in this case in Western clothing with white shirt, waistcoat and black tie. His hair is white. At the right is a cropped version of the Nicolas-Martin Petit portrait of Naba-Leba, showing just the head and shoulders. Published as pl. in: Schinz, H R. Naturgeschichte und Abbildungen der Menschen ... Zurich, Honneger, 1840. (Library has 3rd ed shelved at q573 SCH).
