Views include a hangar at Adelaide Airport holding the historic Vickers Vimy plane that the Smith brothers (Ross and Keith Macpherson Smith) piloted on the first England to Australia flight in 1919; control gates on Torrens River at Glenelg and the outflow; a park in Adelaide with the Torrens River running through, showing the river, a kiosk, and a fountain with shags resting on the edge, and the walkway to the kiosk; Adelaide from the hills; St Peter's Anglican Cathedral (listed in Ingle's index as a Catholic church); park near the university; a mynah bird; a waterfall in Waterfall Gully; fire in a stand of gum trees; rocks and the coastline at Encounter Bay; a heron, and swans in flight at Lake Alexandrina. Description: View from a low rise looking across the Torrens River towards the houses, businesses and industrial buildings of Adelaide, with a range of hills beyond. Title and date in the hand of the artist. Also other notes along the base of the drawing. They are in a mixture of English and German, some identifying features, some colour notes, including “Sand” and “Schlamm” [mud]. From left, the River Torrens is identified, then two less legible words, one possibly 'Scottish Kirche' [Scottish Church], the other possibly 'Governor' (Governor's residence - below a building flying a flag), then 'Leg[islative] Council', 'Eisenbahn' [railway], and 'Park'.
