Description: Shows spectators on a foreground fence and in a stand in the background, watching a rider on a "bucking bronco", participating in a bareback riding contest at a rodeo. The location may also be Raetihi or Kakahi; see notes below. There is a location called Ratahi near Ohakea in the South Rangitikei area. It is also possible that the location is Raetihi. A note on the backing board indicates that this drawing was from Peter McIntyre's book "Kakariki". This may refer to the book "Kakahi" (1972), but this image was not found in that book.
