Several lithographed as illustrations to E. J. Wakefield's "Illustrations to Adventure in New Zealand" published London, 1845. Presented to the Library of the Royal Colonial Institute by Sir Frederick Young, vice-president, and son of G. F. Young, an active member of the New Zealand Company. Transfers: The plant specimens were donated to the Museum of New Zealand in 1982 by the Alexander Turnbull Library..

Apart from the capsules all parts of the plant were drawn from the type specimen. All supplied by Peter de Lange.
