Description: Begins at the Country Library Service centre at Palmerston North, then through the Manawatu and Rangatikei districts including the southern volcanic Plateau, and back to Wanganui via Raetihi. Throughout the journey the Country Library Service Bookvan features as well as the country localities through which it passes or where it stops to ply its trade. Several public libraries are photographed, some farmers at work, children who as schools come to use the service, or are seen fishing at Castlecliff, Wanganui.
