Images show the house Hitchcock stayed in at 283 Clifton Road, Rugby, a view from his window, and another view showing electric street lights on Clifton Road. One image taken in Woburn, Bedfordshire, on 24 December 1935; another shows 'Frog Hall' and the Roman road 'Fosse Way' at Wolston, Warwickshire; and another taken at Oxford and Cambridge Terraces, London of crowds waiting to see the funeral of King George V on 28 January 1936. Description: Photographs, probably taken by Harry Hitchcock or Madge Hoult circa 1930s, of people and places in Great Britain. Some prints have annotations on their reverse. A few images are taken onboard the ship 'M V Durham'. Also contains a letter dated 6 February 1936 addressed from Harry in Rugby, Warwickshire, to his mother, in an envelope labelled "Harrys photos received 22-10-38", as well as two cardboard photo frames which are empty but have inscriptions on them. The name "Hault" on the Kodak envelope was possibly a misspelling of Hoult. Hoult was the maiden name of Madge Hitchcock, spouse of Harry. Title supplied by Library. Arrangement: Prints were received wrapped together in paper. Prints numbered PAColl-10659-016-34 to 59 were received within the package in a Kodak envelope with the name "Hault" on it. From box 4 in the donor listing. Quantity: 59 b&w original photographic print(s). 4 item(s) of photographic ephemera.
