Includes a brief note from Adam's on the length of his career over 42 years ending 31 May 1904. The endpages of the diary includes a brief list of journeys and visits made by Adams in the first five months of 1904. Source of title - Transcribed from item Accompanying material - Photocopy of biographical notes from obituary enclosed with volume. Adams worked as a surveyor, astronomer and public servant.
