Description: Panoramic view of a single-storeyed wooden house on a rise on the far left. A man (Mr Goodson?) is standing on the sloping lawn below the house which has a verandah over the entrance. Rhododendrons, some in flower, are at the foot of the lawn. Circular path with trees left and right. Wooden footbridge in the right foreground leads to the house, across a stream. Tree ferns, cabbage trees on both sides of the water. Path on the far side leads up to houses on a ridge.
