Description: Autograph book compiled by Rev William Jenkins during travels around England in 1863-1864 with a group of Maori including chiefs Te Wharepapa, Hare Pomare and others. Many of the entries contain references by the writers to attending meetings conducted by Rev Jenkins and to meeting members of the Maori party. Quantity: 1 volume(s). 0.02 Linear Metres. Physical Description: Mss Provenance: The donor's grandfather was Thomas Jenkins, son of William Jenkins. His second wife (Elisabeth Aslin) sent the autograph book to Colin's father in 1930s; his father in turn gave it to Colin's brother. After his death, his brother's wife gave it to Colin Jenkins.
