Ink Spots (Musical group)

American vocal group in the 1930s and 1940s that helped define the musical genre that led to rhythm and blues and rock and roll, and the subgenre doo-wop. In 1955 they toured in Australia and New Zealand, with members Herman Flintall, Harold Jackson, Jimmy Holmes, Essix Scott, Phil Harris, and manager Charles Fuqua.
