Description: Scenes of what is probably storm damage in the Chatham Islands including four of the memorial hall and several of buildings by the sea. One of them is named in the negative register as the Mongoutu Hotel. Also included are a photograph of a family group of the steps of their house and another of a group of men in hats and overcoats visiting the maintenance of a large vehicle in a warehouse with gas cylinders visible on the right.
