Building located at 179 Victoria Street, Christchurch. A butchery built circa 1900s and owned by Christchurch butcher William Edmund Dartnall existed on the site. Prior to 2010 Canterbury earthquake developer Richard Diver had plans to develop the brick building and engaged Modern Architecture Partners Ltd. Following the September 2010 earthquake, the building was damaged and then demolished. Construction for a new steel and concrete building on the site was underway when the Feb 22 2011 earthquake struck. The building survived and construction continued, completed in 2012.
