Tenor singer, finalist in the Caltex Opera scholarships in 1988. He was originally from Dunedin, was educated at Burnside High School, and studied under Flora Edwards at the Wellington Polytechnic Executant Music Course. He was also a member of the National Youth Choir, and of Wellington City Opera. In the 1990-2000s, he worked in the Music Department of the National Library of New Zealand (Some information from Caltex Opera Scholarships finalists' programme 1988, at Eph-B-OPERA-WCO-1988).
