Description: Colour transparencies of birdlife and local scenes taken by James (Jim) Watt in Chile during the Totorore expedition and his travels after he left the expedition, circa Jul-Dec 1983. Set includes images of Magellanic penguins swimming and nesting (including Guafo Island and Lagartija Island), upland and kelp geese, great grebes, a giant petrel, a grey phalarope, black-necked swans, a caracara (Guafo Island), Inca and South American terns (at Ancud), and two images of a dead slender-billed "narrow-bill" prion. Also contains image of sea lions and a street scene in Santiago. Inscriptions: Note from depositor reads: "Large box of slides - glaciers, Patagonia, Andes, Quintepeu, Reloncavi, [Reniaue?] Mountains, Guafo Island". Quantity: 23 colour original transparency/ies.
