Musical director for the Christchurch Operatic Society in 1974. In 1964 was living at Tauranga, and had moved there about ten years before that date. He was a teacher, accompanist, church organist and choirmaster. He also took on the job of musical director for musicals performed by the Tauranga Choral and Operatic Society.
