Description: Photographs celebrating the 50th Jubilee of the Oban Presbyterian Church, Half Moon Bay, Stewart Island. Members of the church are shown including the Reverend W Fairlie Evans (minister) and Reverend J C Doig (moderator of the Stewart Island parish), members of the management committee, the ladies responsible for decorations, two organists (Miss M Prentice, and Miss Lorraine Bailey), and the assistant teacher at the Sunday School (Miss J Jensen) are all named with initials and surnames. Four people who attended the first service at the church in 1904 were also present at the Jubilee celebrations (Mrs R Harrison, Mr T Jensen, Mrs A Traill, Mrs A Robertson and Mr C V Thomson). The church is shown in exterior and interior views, and there are also exterior views of the manse.
