Photograph taken by Rotorua Daily Post. - Ani Waaka is wearing a korowai (cloak) adorned with kiwi feathers, woven by Emily Schuster for the Haira family (Ani's mother's family). - People in the photograph include Te Puia board members. Description: All views taken at Whakarewarewa. A man and woman are walking between two buildings on Te Pākira Marae (frame 1), with a carved waka under the eaves of the building on the left, and a building made of ponga logs with carved raparapa (ends of the maihi) seen on the right (frame 1); a young girl is perched at the top of a ladder on the roof of a ponga log building (frame 2); a woman is teaching flax weaving to young women (frames 3 to 5); and young women with a young child in arms and a baby in a pram are seen in front of the "Wahiao" wharenui (meeting house) at Whakarewarewa (frames 6 to 12).
