Bodenwieser Ballet

Dance company formed by Gertrud Bodenwieser in 1939. They toured in New Zealand in March 1947 and October 1950. In 1947, dancers included Eileen Cramer, Margaret Chapple, Shona Dunlop, Coralie Hinkley, Anne Pitsch, Elizabeth Russell, Hilary Napier, Mardi Watchorn, Jean Raymond, Doreen Tooley. In 1950, dancers included Jean Raymond, Coralie Hinkley, Eva Nadas, Mardi Watchorn, Moira Claux, Margaret Chapple, Ann Butt, Elaine Vallance, Vija Vetra, Basil Pattison. They toured in both years with pianist Dory Stern.
