Embarked 9 October 1915 for Suez, Egypt. First rank was Lance Corporal rising to Sergeant. Acted as Company Sergeant-Major during the campaign in Le Quesnoy September to December 1918. Serial No: 10/3011. Sustained facial wounds in action.
