Chamber Opera Group

Formed in Wellington in 1962. First performances were for the Festival of Wellington, in February 1963: two chamber operas, `Dr Miracle' by Bizet, and `The soldier's tale' by Stravinsky. Directors of the Company in 1963 were Peter Zwartz (conductor), Roger Savage, L R Dorizac and W N Sheat.
