Chadwick, Robert Briton Glen, 1910-1967

Theatre producer for Hutt Repertory Theatre in the 1940s. A biographical note and photograph appears in the programme for "Apron strings" by the Kenneth Firth company (Eph-A-DRAMA-1954). His debut at age 18 [?] was in the Victoria University College's production of "The dark angel". He was heard in radio broadcasts in the 1930s and performed with the Manawatu Army Entertainment Club in 1944. In army revues he was compere, comedian, scriptwriter and producer. Son of Montague Robert Joseph and Agnes Miller Chadwick. He was married to Annette Chadwick (née Strickland). Known as Briton. Died in 1967 aged 57 years.
