Description: World War 2 New Zealand Engineers digging graves a a casualty clearing station near Greve, south of Florence, Italy, 2 August, 1944. Corporal Alfred James (Jim) Gower drills in the foreground. In the background (2nd grave from left) is the grave of Mr Gower's friend William (Bill) James Foley. Photograph taken by K G Killoh.
