Waipa State Forest Sawmill

Originally established in 1939 as state-owned experimental saw mill to pioneer the milling of Pinus radiata. (Information from Red Stag Timber, who bought the mill in 2006. See http://www.redstagtimber.com/history/default.asp accessed 2 Feb 2007)
