Description: Poster advertising a programme of events at the Museum of New Zealand during the Matariki Festival of 2006. "Two tides" featured the Chris Mason-Battley group and Richard Nunns combining elements of Maori instrumentation and European jazz. "Made in Taiwan" featured Nathan Rarere and Oscar Kightley exploring their origins through DNA analysis. The Atamira Dance Collective performed contemporary Maori dance relating to matariki with musical accompaniment composed by Paddy Free and performed by Richard Nunns. There was also a video screening about the erection in Waitangi Park of the Matariki Waharoa gateway created by artist George Nuku. Two copies held. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s).
