Description: The proposed Parliament buildings for Wellington, showing a long 3-storied building, somewhat similar to the present building, but with a central raised dome, flanked by two smaller raised domes, with lower domes in between. The front entrance beneath the central dome has three large doors and broad steps. Ionic pillars run the length of the building and the windows on the main floor have curved tops. A bronze figure of New Zealand as a woman holding a branch above her head surmounts the central dome.
