Description: Programme cover shows the New Zealand flag and the Union Jack. At the top is a dove carrying an olive branch. Inside is a short text on peace, a list of the Executive Committee, the order of Sunday's proceedings (a church service), Monday's sports programme (including novelty races, a pillow fight, musical chairs, greasy pig, pony jumping) and evening entertainment (torchlight procession, free concert and dancing in the Drill Hall). Tuesday's programme included more sporting events and races, a baby show, and in the evening, illuminations and dancing.
