In Willis Street. One of the last old pubs in Wellington to be demolished, about 1988. Established about 1865 as a wooden building. Burnt down in the 1890s and replaced with a three-storeyed brick building.

Description: Frames 1 to 8 were taken in Willis Street, Wellington. A group are sitting at a table inside Suzy's Coffee lounge (frame 1). Three young people are possibly outside the Majestic Cinema, one of whom is a young girl wearing leg braces, needing crutches (frames 2 to 5). A family is crossing Willis Street outside the Pioneer Coffee Lounge and the Britannia Hotel, and then seen walking along the street. They include John van Hulst and his children Lisa and Adrian.
