Description: Menu cover shows central text inside the shape of a Maori whare with ornate tekoteko and maihi. A moa stands at the left under a nikau palm, and there is a flax bush at the right. In the four corners are portraits of the Duk and Duchess, Richard John Seddon and Lord Ranfurly. Inside spread shows the menu, all in French, for "Souper". The border and centre feature nikau palms and tree ferns, and circular inset portraits of two Maori in traditional costume. A vignette of Mitre Peak is at top centre. 4 copies held.
